Tu Tama Wahine o Taranaki is a tangata whenua development and liberation organisation. We are also a nationally-recognised Whanau Ora provider of services to whanau within the Taranaki community. Established in 1989, Tu Tama Wahine o Taranaki has evolved to meet the changing needs of whanau, with services and activities based in education, justice, health, community and social development.

We utilise a comprehensive cultural competency framework based on Taranaki Tikanga, history and values. This enables our organisation to be clinically centred while maintaining a culturally responsive focus.
